A Girl Who Smoked Cigarettes

Once upon a time there was a young woman who was a non-smoker.

However, one day she arrived in a country where everybody was smoking.

She couldn't understand it. Smoking is unhealthy, you smell bad...

She remembered big posters with a cowboy from the times when she was a child. That was before advertising tobacco products was prohibited by the law. 

One day she went for a bike ride. Bike trip. She pinched the rear tire, so she had to walk more than 10 kilometres back to home.

While she was walking, leading her bike by her side, she found a pack of cigarettes next to the path. It was almost full. She took it home with her. And since that day she smoked one cigarette per day from that pack.

Anyway, in her previous life, she was supposed to play a smoking character in a theatre play. So this was her study part. (And also, secretly, she wanted to be like the other people all around her...)

She read instructions and recommedations on wikiHow. She smoked in various places, at various times of the day, after a meal or before, with a coffee or a beer or a soda... But always alone.

Then, after 19 days, the pack was finished. So she stopped smoking.

Nonetheless, not even one whole week has passed since her last, the 19th cigarette, and she found a whole, unsmoked cigarette on the pavement. She took it. And smoked it.

And so whenever the young woman finds an abandoned untouched cigarette, she has to smoke it. It is her curse.
